"You gave birth to me, but you also gave me the light that shone within you; you created the human in me as well - you were a mother to me twice over!" With these words by Ivan Vazov from his poem "My Mother," the POETITE troupe announces their summer tour featuring their most beautiful program to date.

The performance "The Poets and The Woman" tells stories of the mother, the daughter, the sister, the friend, the grandmother, the wife, and the muse through the eyes of Bulgarian poets. The program includes the most beautiful poems dedicated to Woman, as well as works written by women. The literary evening will be accompanied by the music of maestro Antoni Donchev and a specially prepared multimedia program.

The troupe includes Vlado Penev, Boyko Krastanov, Vesela Babinova, Zahari Baharov, Ivan Barnev, Malin Krastev, Luiza Grigorova-Makariev, Teodora Duhovnikova, and Julian Vergov. The team clarifies that they reserve the right to perform with an incomplete lineup of the Poets should circumstances change.
