Writer Zheni Kostadinova will present her new book, "Vangeliya," at the "Morsko Kazino" Cultural Center in Burgas on September 24 at 6:30 PM. Attendance is free of charge.

The work is presented as a parable of the life of the world-renowned prophetess and is suitable for both adults and children. The story follows Vangeliya's childhood years, the loss of her sight, her difficult relationship with her stepmother, the bond with her grandmother, and the love and challenges she faced.

The book features 27 colorful illustrations by Daniela Zekina, who lives and works in Montreal, Canada. Zekina graduated in design and illustration from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia and is the author of over 60 children's books. In 2009, she won the Grand Prize at the International Miniature Exhibition in Quebec.

Zheni Kostadinova holds a Master's degree in Philosophy and has been a researcher of Vanga's life for over three decades. She is the author of a series of non-fiction books dedicated to the prophetess, aimed at distinguishing her true personality from media sensations and speculation. Kostadinova is the founder of the Art House with the "The Puppets" Museum in Sofia and the creative director of the international festival "The Magic of Puppets." In 2016, she received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Vice President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Margarita Popova.

At the end of her life, Vanga built the Orthodox temple "St. Petka of Bulgaria" in Rupite using funds from her followers. She was buried near the temple, and the site has been transformed into a park complex by the "Vanga" Foundation.
