Children's Arts Festival in the heart of Burgas

On Friday, June 19, 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m., the area around the "Gramophone" sculpture on Aleko Bogoridi Blvd. will come alive with creative energy. The ninth edition of "Friday Gramofon – Boulevard performances in anticipation of summer" promises unforgettable moments for young and old alike.

The initiative is part of the support for Burgas' candidacy for European Capital of Culture 2032.

What does the program include?

  • Creative activities: Children will have the opportunity to breathe new life into old vinyl records, paint the iconic "Gramophone," and color musical notes.
  • "Music with a colorful background" exhibition: A presentation of painted records and an open-air art session by students of the "MAG Academy" school, led by Tsveti Orbova-Stoyanova.
  • Summer workshop: "Vacation at the library" with the participation of Valentina Kaneva.
  • Stage performances: Theater performances, musical acts, and poetry featuring studio "Svetulka," Art Center "Tochno Vreme," folk group "Trakiiche," and literary studio "Mitichni Ptitsi."

The event is organized by the "Lyuben Karavelov 1940" Community Center in Burgas, which for another year is turning the boulevard into an arena for culture and young talent.
