The fifth "Swap Meet" takes place in Burgas on Saturday, 17 October, from 11:00, the organisers from the civic initiative Less is More said. Under the motto "Autumn Restart", people can swap clothes and accessories for free.
The event is on the second floor of the Opera Garden restaurant at 36 Lyuben Karavelov Street. Entry is free.
A book club is joining the swap for the first time. Runa's Book Club, run by Elena, offers a "Blind Date with a Book": you pick a book from two or three phrases describing its mood, without seeing the cover, title or author. The donation for the chosen book is voluntary, and the money goes to "Save a Kitten Burgas".
Besides clothes and accessories, people can also bring books for Elena's club. The books must be in good condition, modern, and in Bulgarian or English.
Runa's Book Club is a Burgas book club that supports charity causes. It wraps donated second-hand books and offers them "blind", by genre and mood, with the title and author hidden. Participants choose by instinct, and all the money raised goes to local charity causes. After each event, the club publishes how much it raised, for which cause, and the donation certificate.
Less is More promotes responsible and sustainable consumption by reusing and swapping clothes and other items. The meetings are informal, and the aim is for people to choose more carefully and live with fewer, better-quality things.
The initiative runs other swaps together with Girls Just Do. Less is More also co-organises the city's cross-border sharing festival "Let's Sit at One Table", which took place in Burgas for the first time in August 2026 on Aleko Konstantinov Street.
