On June 22, a special attraction composition will be held, consisting of four passenger carriages of salon type and one retro carriage from the "Korona Express" of King Boris III. The retro train will be pulled by a steam locomotive series 01.23, produced in Switzerland in 1935.
The train will depart from Central Station Sofia at 9:05 and will arrive at Vakarel station at 10:10. The return to Sofia will be at 16:40, with arrival in the capital at 17:43. The trip is organized in cooperation with the mayor's office of the village of Vakarel, which has prepared a rich festive program for the guests.
During the stay in Vakarel, all visitors will be able to see dozens of tents presenting authentic Bulgarian crafts, taste delicious local food, observe reconstructions from the past and enjoy folk dances, performances of children's dance groups and a guard brass band. The organizers have also provided special areas for children's entertainment.
