Burgas Photographic Community (BFO) is holding its annual exhibition with more than 75 photos by 22 authors at the Burgas Artists' Society hall in Burgas. It runs until 17 October 2026, BFO chairman Plamen Rusev said.
This report follows our earlier story on BFO's 18th annual exhibition, which we said would open on Monday, 12 October, at 6:30pm.
Rusev, who has chaired the group for many years, opened the show and has his own photos in it. The hall has landscapes, portraits and aerial shots taken at well-known places in Burgas and abroad, including Japan and Sudan.
BFO was founded 18 years ago, and its members have shown their work at an annual exhibition ever since.
"This year was very successful for us. Our members won gold medals, and we held several solo exhibitions. We achieved a lot," Rusev told BTA.
The photographers taking part are Alexander Kulik, Alexander Stoyanov, Atanas Stoyanov, Vasil Nanev, Venelin Todorov, Georgi Ivanov, Danail Dimov, Dimitrina Andreeva, Dragomir Georgiev, Zhecho Planinski and Konstantin Kostadinov. Also showing work are Krasimir Kolev, Margarita Kirova, Milen Dobrev, Nikolay Radanov-Niro, Plamen Rusev, Svetlin Yosifov, Stanil Lazarov, Stefka Delcheva, Teodor Filipov and Tencho Petkov. BTA photojournalist in Burgas Hristo Stefanov is also taking part.
BFO photos are also on show these days at the airport in Bratislava. The display there is about the Giro d'Italia cycling race, which started in Bulgaria this year and also passed through Burgas.
