The long-awaited swimming marathon "On the Waves of Pomorie" for 2025 is ready to welcome its participants with exceptional opportunities and precise organization. The event will offer different categories for swimmers of all age groups, with the main focus on the safety and comfort of the competitors.

Registration for the race will be carried out exclusively online through a special electronic platform. Candidates will receive a confirmation email with the necessary declarations – Appendix No. 1 for physical fitness and Appendix No. 2 for underage participants, accompanied by a unique identification number or QR code.

The organizers have planned the following categories for the competition:

• 1000 meters for socially disadvantaged families
• 1000 meters for children up to 13 years old
• 1000 meters for youth between 13-16 years old
• 2000 meters for adult men and women

All those wishing to participate must arrive on August 16 at 13:00 at the Old Pier in Pomorie. Registration and medical examination will be conducted until 15:00, and the technical briefing is scheduled for 15:30.

To ensure maximum safety, the organizers have provided four accompanying boats, four licensed lifeguards with the necessary water equipment, two medical specialists, and one equipped ambulance. Municipality of Pomorie will conclude an "Accident" insurance for each competitor.

Many institutions will participate in ensuring the event, including Maritime Administration – Burgas, Border Police, Bulgarian Red Cross, local hospitals and medical centers, which will guarantee the full safety of the participants.
