The seaside city of Burgas is preparing to host one of the most significant international rhythmic gymnastics tournaments this week. From July 18 to 19, the sports arena will be the epicenter of graceful performances dedicated to the memory of Julieta Shishmanova.

The competition will unite talented gymnasts from six countries - Italy, Canada, Romania, Ukraine, South Africa, and Bulgaria. Local clubs, including SKHG Chernomorets, Julieta Shishmanova Nesebar, Beroe Stara Zagora, Gracia Varna, and Tundzha 2015 Yambol, will represent their national colors.

The official competition starts on Friday at 14:00 with the women's category, with the official opening planned for 18:30. Rada Vrazheva will be the chief judge of the event, which is organized jointly with the Burgas Municipality.

The tournament is named after the remarkable coach Julieta Shishmanova, who tragically died on March 16, 1978 while traveling to a competition in Poland. Admission for fans and rhythmic gymnastics enthusiasts is completely free.
