From August 10 to 15, 2025, Burgas will host a large-scale cultural event that promises to delight the audience with exceptional puppet performances. The festival will present an international program with participants from Bulgaria, Germany, Turkey, Czech Republic, and Brazil.

The open stage "Ohlyuva" will become the epicenter of the artistic experience, where the audience will be able to enjoy diverse performances with different themes and styles. Every evening from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM, unique puppet performances will be presented, accessible to all age groups.

The program includes iconic titles such as "Ronya, the Robber's Daughter" from the Puppet School at the Dramatic Puppet Theater - Burgas, which will open the festival on August 10. In the following days, the audience will be able to see international performances like "I Can Fly Too" from Turkey, "The Golden Key" from Shumen, "Sock, Moon and Stars" from Germany, and "Dancing Marionettes" from the Czech Republic.

Among the special highlights are performances such as "We Can Fly Without Wings" from Brazil and "Chocolate Surprises" from Germany. In addition, viewers will be able to enjoy classic fairy tales like "The Frog Prince", "The Wolf and the Seven Kids", and "Little Red Riding Hood".

The event is realized with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture and the Burgas Municipality. It is part of the larger campaign for Burgas' candidacy as the European Capital of Culture for 2032.

The festival's greatest advantage is free admission, which makes art accessible to all those wishing to immerse themselves in the magical world of puppets under the open sky and the sounds of the sea.
