Medical Forum in Burgas: Exchange of Experience and Discoveries

The fifth edition of the Autumn Medical Forum, organized by Burgas State University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov" (BSU) in partnership with the University Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment – Burgas, the Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment of Children's Diseases "St. Anastasia", the Complex Oncology Center – Burgas, and with the assistance of Burgas Municipality, is to be held in the sea city on November 22nd. The event, which is shaping up to be significant for the medical community, will bring together researchers and medical professionals from various areas of healthcare. Their focus will be on the exchange of experience and the presentation of the latest discoveries that have changed the landscape of medicine, announced the higher education institution.

The auditorium of the "Medical Sciences" building of the university will function as the host of the forum. The organizers announced that the program will be structured in two scientific sessions, which will give participants the opportunity to present their research and participate in discussions. Summaries of those wishing to participate can be sent by November 19th, which emphasizes the need for a quick response from potential participants.

We remind you that at the end of August this year, the first class of doctors from Burgas State University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov" received their diplomas. A total of 31 graduates from the specialty "Medicine" successfully completed their studies in the sea city. This event was followed by the announcement in September of a planned increase in admissions for the specialty "Medicine" at BSU with 20 new places. At the same time, the university opened its doors for the third consecutive year to its foreign students who have chosen to study in this specialty. The young people, who began their education in 2025, are representatives of 21 countries from Asia and Africa, North America and Europe, as well as from island countries, specified the university team, demonstrating the international scope of the educational institution.
