Burgas Marathon 2025: Volunteers Seek Support for the Sporting Event

On November 9th, one of the biggest events in the sporting calendar is approaching – Burgas Marathon 2025. The day promises to unite runners from all corners, spectators, and enthusiasts, all united by their love of sport. The city will become a center of energy and enthusiasm, and the participants and guests will together create an atmosphere that will undoubtedly be remembered for a long time.

In order for the marathon to be held in the best possible way and to offer an unforgettable experience to all participants, the organizers need the support of volunteers. They will be a key factor for the success of the event, helping in the organization and execution of the various tasks that are necessary for holding such a large-scale event.

The organizers are appealing to everyone who wants to participate in this exciting endeavor. "We need over 100 volunteers to get involved in various key areas," they share. "Whether you are active or just looking for an inspiring experience, you will find your place in our team." Volunteers with experience in similar events will be assigned to key positions with higher responsibility. The roles that volunteers can choose from are diverse and reflect the need for help in various aspects of the marathon. Among the possible positions are a course marshal – the task is to guide the participants and monitor their safety; a point supervisor – who will coordinate the team and monitor the replenishment of water and energy products; a point assistant – who will distribute water and energy to the runners; work in the stage area – for assistance with the awards ceremony and logistics; work in the start-finish area – for orienting participants and handing out medals; work in the cloakroom – for storing and handing over personal luggage; and participation in info and logistics – for answering questions, directing and providing assistance.

In exchange for their work and commitment, volunteers will receive an official branded T-shirt and windbreaker. In addition, the organizers have provided a sandwich and water on the day of the event, as well as a certificate of participation. But perhaps the most important thing is that volunteers will have the opportunity to experience an unforgettable event, which, as the organizers say, "will return their invested time and effort many times over!"
