A puppet show for babies, "Yellow," comes to the Peyo Yavorov Regional Library on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., organizers say.

The show is aimed at babies and children up to age 4, and it's also open to children with special educational needs. It has already been staged more than 110 times, in Bulgaria, Turkey, Israel and Sweden.

Organizers say the show speaks to the senses of the youngest viewers and gives them their first taste of art. Shapes, colors and sounds keep changing to hold the children's attention and pull them into the world of theater.

Tickets cost 8 euros for an adult, 13 euros for an adult with one child, and 17 euros for an adult with two children. They're on sale online at https://entase.to/0em, and the library box office opens 45 minutes before the show starts.

Desislava Mincheva and Petar Todorov created "Yellow" at the "For the Rhodopes" Arts Center. The two wrote the script, Todorov directs, Nikolina Kostova-Bogdanova designed the set, Galina Borisova choreographed the show, and Mincheva wrote the music and also performs in it. Child psychiatrist Dr. Zdravka Yaneva advised on the production.

Desislava Mincheva won an acting award for her role at the "Magic Curtain" International Theater Festival in Targovishte in May 2016.
