A large-scale concert-show by one of the country's most beloved folklore ensembles, "Strandzha", will immerse the residents and guests of Burgas in the magic of Bulgarian folklore. On August 28, 2025, at exactly 9:00 PM, the space of the Ethnographic Museum in the seaside city will become the stage for an event that promises a unique experience for the senses.
"Folklore Paths - From the Source to the Stage"
The show is conceived as a journey through the authentic traditions and heritage of Bulgaria. Viewers will have the unique opportunity to get a glimpse of the rich ritual, song, and dance folklore specific to the Sliven and Burgas ethnographic regions. The organizers emphasize that the performance will include authentic Bulgarian costumes, skillfully woven into the dynamic choreography and music.
To recreate a maximally intimate and authentic atmosphere, the performances will unfold in various zones and rooms of the Ethnographic Museum. Different groups from the ensemble will successively present fragments of dances, songs, and customs.
Due to the specifics of the small rooms in the museum building, which do not allow the simultaneous presence of artists and audience, the entire show will be professionally filmed. For the convenience of the viewers, it will be broadcast live on a video wall placed in the museum's courtyard. This innovative organization will ensure that not a single detail of the performance will be missed.

The concert-show is the culmination of the project "Folklore Paths - From the Source to the Stage". The project received financial support under the "Intangible Cultural Heritage" Program for 2024 from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria, intended for professional ensembles and bearers of intangible cultural heritage.
