Piano evening featuring the music of Tchaikovsky in Burgas

On July 15, 2026, at 7:00 PM, the "Sea Casino" Cultural Center will host a concert from the "Days of Russian Piano Music" series, dedicated entirely to the works of P. I. Tchaikovsky.

This year's edition, themed "A Tradition Continues," focuses on the continuity between generations.

The stage will feature a teacher and her student – pianists Rada Chomakova and Denitsa Hristova. They will present a program featuring some of the most beloved piano works by the great Russian composer:

  • "Dumka", Op. 59
  • "The Nutcracker" Piano Suite (transcription: St. Esipov)
  • Scenes from the ballet "The Sleeping Beauty" (arranged for piano four hands by Sergei Rachmaninoff)

For more than two decades, the festival has held a worthy place in the cultural calendar of Burgas, combining high performance excellence with respect for tradition. The concert is organized with the support of Burgas Municipality and the Black Sea Institute.
