Dramatic finish in front of Burgas Municipality

The finish is expected to be particularly dramatic, as it will take place on the emblematic Atanas Sirekov Square, right in front of the Burgas Municipality building. This location not only provides a picturesque backdrop for television coverage but also allows thousands of Burgas residents and city guests to witness the final sprint. As the column of cyclists approaches, the tension among the gathered spectators will grow, and the final chord of the stage will be met with thunderous applause.

The route: From Primorsko to Burgas

The official start of the stage will be given in the town of Primorsko, and the route that the competitors have to cover is long and challenging. The route includes passing through key thoroughfares and populated areas that will test the endurance and tactical preparation of the participants.

After the start in Primorsko, the cyclists will take road I-9 to the "Yug" road junction, after which they will move along Zahari Stoyanov Blvd. and pass through the Gorna Ezerovo neighborhood. The route continues through Bratovo, Troyanovo, Aytos, where they will take road I-6. The entry into Burgas will be through the Vetren neighborhood, followed by a pass along boulevards and streets with heavy traffic, including Stefan Stambolov, San Stefano, Hristo Botev, Tsar Petar, and Ivan Vazov, to reach the final straight on Aleksandrovska St.

Schedule and traffic restrictions

The cyclists' movement will follow a pre-arranged schedule, with:

  • the passage through the "Yug" road junction expected around 3:30 PM
  • the entry into the city of Burgas from the Vetren neighborhood planned for around 5:00 PM
  • the culmination of the event – the finish in front of the Municipality – scheduled for 5:40 PM

To ensure the safety of participants and spectators, traffic will be gradually stopped for cars along the entire route during the passage of the competitors. The authorities urge citizens to show understanding and patience, by adjusting their travel plans to the expected restrictions. In this regard, serious difficulties are also expected in public transport. In the interval from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, the schedule of bus lines that serve the specified streets will be completely disrupted, which will affect thousands of passengers.
