What happens when elections, drones, electricity prices, and the eternal optimism for a bright future meet the typical Bulgarian sense of humor? The answer comes with music, poetry, and plenty of laughter in the show "What Does the Bulgarian Laugh At?" by writer, journalist, and bard Ivaylo Dimanov.

"Even if a person lives well, they are suddenly beset by elections, drones, inspiring electricity prices, and inexhaustible optimism for the bright future of the Fatherland. That is precisely why we must never lose our sense of humor," the author shares.

The performance is inspired by his latest book of the same name, described as the first and only encyclopedia of Bulgarian humor. On stage at the "Petya Dubarova" hall, Dimanov will turn everyday life into a stage and absurdity into a reason to smile through original songs, poetry, and a satirical look at reality.
