Global index provider MSCI has officially announced an upgrade for the Bulgarian capital market. Bulgaria is transitioning from "Standalone Market" status to "Frontier Market" status. The decision is part of the 2026 annual market classification review.

This is a historic moment for the Bulgarian capital market, which sends a clear signal to international investors that our country offers increasingly better conditions for investment, commented Assoc. Prof. Dr. Manyu Moravenov.
