"The Shape of Things": A Play That Poses Questions About Love, Self-Discovery, and Art

A romantic and provocative comedy that makes us think about - who am I, do I like myself the way I am, do I need the approval of society to be happy, what is love?

The play "The Shape of Things" poses questions, and the answers remain for the audience itself.

In a small university town in America, the artist Evelyn has won a project on which she has to realize a sculptural installation. In the Museum of Arts, she meets Adam, a rather unsightly man in his thirties, who balances his work commitments between the museum, as security, the university bookstore and his co-authorship in the book he is writing with his best friend - Philip. Adam's relationship with Evelyn leads not only to his external transformation, but also to a number of changes in his way of life. Adam's transformation into a popular and attractive man does not go unnoticed by his closest friends, which leads to unexpected changes in both his personal and social life.

In his new self, the young man finds himself entangled in the subtle, almost invisible web of the dangerous transformation to which all forms of art lead.

The play touches on issues such as:

• love or cruelty is a stronger stimulus for the highest form of art;
• feelings or benefits determine our choices in friendship and love;
• the path to self-knowledge when you are looking for your place in social society.
