A documentary about Burgas swimmer Tsanko Tsankov, "Mission English Channel", will be shown on Saturday, 17 October, at 12:00 pm at the NHK Cultural Centre. Entry is free.

The 30-minute film follows Tsankov as he swims the English Channel without a break, from England to France. It shows not only the swim itself but also the training he needed for the distance.

After the screening, the audience will be able to meet the swimmer and ask him questions.

The Petrochemical Workers' Cultural Centre also hosted the opening of the ninth DOCK International Festival of Documentary History Film, as we reported in September. The first film shown to the Burgas audience was "Sylvie Vartan. For the Love of It".

Viewers will also get postcards with his autograph.
