"Christmas Tree of Goodness" Marks 10 Years with a Christmas Charity Concert in Burgas

The "Fir Tree of Goodness" initiative begins its tenth anniversary December in the Burgas Regional Administration. The tradition, which every year unites hundreds of people in support of children and families at risk, will be supported this winter with a Christmas concert of goodness.

The concert is organized at the idea of ​​Regional Governor Vladimir Krumov, with the blessing of His Eminence the Metropolitan of Sliven Arseny and with the support of the Regional Coordination Mechanism for the deinstitutionalization of children and the Municipality of Burgas. It will take place on December 3, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. in hall floor 2 of the Burgas Regional Administration, 1 Tsar Petar St. The Children's Choir "Milka Stoeva", students from NUMSI "Prof. Dr. Pancho Vladigerov", the "Siyanie" ballet school, students from the "Orthodox Traditions and Holidays" club ktm TsPLR - Burgas and the Sunday school at the "St. Ivan Rilski" - Burgas church will perform on stage. The children from the II b group of DG "H. Christian Andersen" have also prepared a surprise for the guests.

"The Fir Tree of Goodness is an example of continuity, a tradition started almost a decade ago and preserved by all those who have led the institution. This year we decided to share it with the children, because they understand the meaning of goodness most purely. We show them the way, but often they are the people who bring us back to it," said Regional Governor Vladimir Krumov.

The concert of goodness also joins the efforts of thousands of noble people to help Nasko from Burgas in his fight against a serious illness. During the event, a donation box for the treatment of the young father will be placed in the building of the Regional Administration.

Donations for the "Fir Tree of Goodness" initiative - new clothes, shoes, toys, sweets, baby consumables and food products - will be accepted from December 3 to 18, every working day from 09:00 to 17:00, under the Christmas tree in the lobby of the Burgas Regional Administration. For easier distribution, the organizers ask that the packages contain a description and the age and gender of the children for whom they are intended.

Over the years, "The Fir Tree of Goodness" has established itself as a tradition that unites. And this year, the initiative continues, over 200 children in foster families and children at risk of abandonment in the Burgas region will receive their gifts on December 22, just before the holidays. Together we can give a real Christmas to the little ones and show the way of goodness.
