Burgas State Opera Opens Season with "Samson and Delilah"

Burgas State Opera opens its creative season for the year with the production "Samson and Delilah" by Camille Saint-Saëns. The performance will take place on February 5th at 7:00 PM under the baton of Ivan Kozhuharov, the opera announced. 

The director of the production is Alexander Tekeliev, and the set design and costumes are the work of Katalin Arbore (Romania). In the main roles, the audience will see mezzo-soprano Daniela Dyakova (Delilah) and tenor Kostadin Andreev (Samson), who is a guest soloist from the Sofia Opera and Ballet. In the other roles, Alexander Krunev, Delyan Slavov, and Diman Panchev participate.

The production includes visual solutions with 3D mapping and multimedia. The choir, ballet, and orchestra of the Burgas Opera participate in the performance. 

On February 9th, the opera will also be presented on the stage of the "Zarya-1858" community center in Haskovo.
