On July 30th at the "Georgi Baev" Gallery, the documentary film "Born in Burgas" will be presented, dedicated to the remarkable local artist Rusya Stoyanov. The screening is planned for 8:30 PM.

The artist is called the "Burgas Leonardo" due to his exceptional courage in implementing large-scale projects and his ability to be ahead of his time. His work is deeply connected with Burgas, which remained his inspiration until the end of his life.

Despite his premature death, Stoyanov left a rich creative legacy. Two of his iconic works continue to be present in the urban space, with one having become a symbol of Burgas.

His distinctive qualities are steadfastness, determination, and precision both in details and in the overall vision. His strongest driving force is boundless love in all its dimensions.

The premiere of the film "Born in Burgas" took place during this year's Burgas Film Festival. The documentary was directed by Nadya Peovska under the guidance of Ilker Savashkurt.
