The upcoming cultural event "Read and Knit" promises to delight the Burgas audience with a large-scale artistic program on Friday, July 18, at 6:30 PM. The initiative of the "Lyuben Karavelov 1940" community center will transform Borissova Garden into a multi-faceted creative center, combining literature, music, dance, and visual arts.

The literary part will be presented by established and young authors, including Mina Krasteva, Konstantin Koradov, Lili Mili, and students from the "Mythical Birds" literary studio. The poetic performances will create an intimate atmosphere on the improvised open stage.

The musical program includes diverse performers - soloists from the "Seasons" club, folk performers, and instrumentalists. Alena and Maria Dimitrova, Tanya Stoeva, Iskren Todorov, Ognyan Ognyanov, and Daniil Taran will present various genres and musical styles.

Dance art will be represented by the "Burgas 1975" sports dance club under the leadership of Andrey Todorov, who will further enrich the artistic palette of the event.

Parallel to the main program, visitors will be able to enjoy exhibitions and interactive workshops. The "Pensioner Union 2004" association will present traditional lace, and the Municipal Council on Narcotic Substances will organize an art workshop for children.

A special attraction during the festival will be the plein air painting by young artists Alexandra Nikolova and Mikhail Gavrailov, who will demonstrate their skills directly in the park environment.

The event is realized with the financial support of the Burgas Municipality and aims to support the city's candidacy for European Capital of Culture in 2032 by presenting the richness and diversity of local art.
