Burgas welcomes a contemporary circus event with artists from the city.

On June 28, 2025, the "Circus in the Park" festival will be held in an open space near the Youth International Center in Burgas. The event will present contemporary circus art with a diverse program, including jugglers, mimes, stilt walkers, theater artists, and magicians. The organizers of "Circus in the Park" aim to provide an opportunity for artistic expression for young talents from Burgas, and they are issuing an official invitation for them to participate in the festival activities.

The subtitle of the festival - "Return to the Roots" - is inspired by the idea of bringing the wonderful artists of Burgas back home to contribute with their achievements in the arts. The project is being implemented with the financial support of the Municipality of Burgas and supports the city's candidacy for the European Capital of Culture in 2032. All events of the festival will be free admission.

The program of "Circus in the Park" includes a variety of attractions - from juggling with axes, through giant people and walking on glass, to disappearing objects. Among the performances will be "The Little Magician" - a magic show, "Poco Loco" - a juggling monospecific, "Encounter" - a monospecific with circus elements, as well as interactive performances with a mime and a stilt walker. The event will conclude with a concert by the Burasco Jazz Trio.
