On May 29, Thursday, at 7 pm in the hall of the State Opera - Burgas, one of the most beloved operettas in the genre - "The Gypsy Princess" by Imre Kalman will be presented again. The distinguished conductor Ivan Kozhuharov will take the podium, under whose leadership the musicians of the orchestra, with concert masters Vanya Zlateva and Hristo Belchev, will achieve exceptional organic performance and convey the musical messages with the necessary mood, charge and precision - both in the brilliant passages and in the quiet dynamics of the lyrical moments.
The performers of the main roles will be captivating and exciting. In the role of the variety artist Silva Veresku, the charismatic mezzo-soprano Yoana Kadiyska will once again step in. Her partner - the leading soloist of the National Music Theater "Stefan Makedonski" Penyo Pirozov /guest/ is also expected to be extremely impressive and impeccable in the role of Edwin, passionately in love with the beautiful dancer. The baritone Yordan Hristozov will be an artistic typhoon on the stage in the role of Boni, Silva's fiancé, the favorite of all the ballerinas from the variety, but whose heart is captive only to Stasi. The charming mezzo-soprano Maria Yurkovskaya will embody the role of the coquette Stasi, building her role with finesse, lightness and a remarkable sense of.
The audience will see again the charming performance of the bass Diman Panchev in the role of the writer Feri, who changes the ending of his novel depending on the fateful turns in "real life", as well as the tenor Miroslav Dimitrov in the role of the cunning waiter Mishka, whose famous line is "A good waiter must know everything, and a good husband - nothing". Milen Dinolav as the notary Kish, Petar Tiholov as the Prince, Cilika's husband, and Emil Peychev as the General will also be perfectly integrated into the overall development of the plot line and the general appearance of the performance.
The artists from the choir ensemble with conductor Alexander Chepanov will create the necessary dense and large-scale sound of the common scenes, in which key moments in the plot development take place.
