The plot of the musical, based on George Bernard Shaw's play "Pygmalion", tells a captivating story of the love between the flower girl Eliza Doolittle and the phonetics professor Henry Higgins. The audience will witness the transformation of Eliza from a girl with a terrible dialect and manners into a refined lady, unconditionally accepted by high society.
Professor Tekeliev's production is distinguished by its lavish scenography, masterfully combined with multimedia, the magnificent costumes of Yana Dvoretska, and the captivating choreography of Associate Professor Dr. Anna Pampulova. The conductor of the performance is Ivan Kozhuharov, and the leading roles will be performed by the guest soloists Ilina Mihaylova (Eliza Doolittle) and Marcho Apostolov (Professor Higgins), as well as the established artists from the National Music Theater.
In addition to its philosophical depth and amusing moments, the musical "My Fair Lady" is, above all, a fairy tale about love that is stronger than any prejudice. The performance on May 20 promises to be a true feast for the senses, combining Broadway brilliance and emotional impact.
