Burgas regional library "Peyo K. Yavorov" will screen "Piton 357" on 24 October 2026 at 6.30pm, the library said. Entry is free.

The film is part of the "Retro Cinema in the Library" series. It is a classic European crime film.

The story centres on police officer Marc Ferro, a very capable, private man who works alone. For years he has chased a gang of art thieves, and when he catches them, the case seems closed.

Then he meets Silvia Leopardi, played by Stefania Sandrelli. Marc falls in love and lets someone into his life for the first time. But the criminals take revenge: they hurt Silvia, and Marc loses everything.

His pain drives him to look for the truth and payback. His loyal friend, code-named "Piton 357", helps him. He is the only person Marc can count on.

The organisers say the film offers a crime story, love, betrayal and revenge, along with the mood of classic European cinema.
