Bars, restaurants and shops within 500 metres of Lazur stadium in Burgas will not sell alcohol on Sunday, 18 October 2026, from 10:00 to 18:00, Burgas council said.

The ban is linked to the Bulgarian Cup match between Chernomorets and Botev (Plovdiv), which kicks off at 12:00.

The mayor of Burgas issued the order at the request of the Burgas regional police directorate. During those hours, no one in the area can sell, offer or serve alcoholic drinks.

The council says the order aims to keep public order and safety during the match. It applies the law on public order at sporting events.
