Weather forecast: From rain to sunny hours
Overnight, cloudiness will remain significant, with rain expected mainly in the western half of the country. By morning, however, the precipitation will stop, according to the NIMH.
Over the eastern half, the clouds will break. In the valleys of Southwestern Bulgaria, there are conditions for frost, and minimum temperatures will be between -2° and 3°.
Tomorrow we expect a mostly sunny day with maximum temperatures between 11° and 16°, around 12° in Sofia.
Weather by region:
- Black Sea coast: Variable cloudiness, with light showers possible in the south. Sea state will be 3-4 on the Douglas scale.
- Mountains: Significant cloudiness with snowfall in the higher parts and rain below 1200 meters.
- Next week: A warming trend is expected, with temperatures exceeding 20° on Tuesday.
