Weather forecast for the next 24 hours: Cloudy with rain and snow, moderate wind, and a drop in temperatures. Changes are expected in the coming days.

Over the next 24 hours, cloud cover will be significant, with rain in many places, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) announced. In the afternoon, the cloud cover will briefly break up over the southwestern regions. The wind will be moderate to strong, temporarily strong in Eastern Bulgaria, from the north-northeast. Minimum temperatures will be between 0° and 5°, in the high valley fields of Western Bulgaria up to minus 2°, and in Sofia – around 1°. Maximum temperatures will be mainly between 7° and 12°, in Sofia - around 8°.

Atmospheric pressure will be below average for the month and will remain without significant change. 

On the Black Sea coast, it will be cloudy with rain, more significant along the southern coast. A moderate to strong wind will blow from the north-northeast. Maximum temperatures will be between 8° and 11°. The sea water temperature is 7°-8°. The sea swell will be 3-4 points.

In the mountains, it will be cloudy with snowfall. A moderate and strong northeast wind will blow. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be 2°, at 2000 meters – around minus 3°.

On Monday and Tuesday, cloudy weather will prevail. In many places there will be rain, in the mountains – snow. The wind will be moderate, in the eastern regions and temporarily strong from the east-northeast. The prevailing minimum temperatures will be between minus 1° and 4°, the maximum – between 6° and 11°. (NIMH)
