Tonight the weather will be cloudy with rain, and snow in the mountains and mountainous regions. A light to moderate northwesterly wind will blow in Western Bulgaria, and from the east-southeast in the rest of the country. Minimum temperatures will be between 3° and 8°, around 4° for Sofia, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) reported.
Atmospheric pressure will slowly rise, remaining significantly lower than the monthly average.
Tomorrow before noon, the rain will temporarily stop in many places in Southern Bulgaria, and the cloud cover will break up and decrease. After noon it will increase again, will be mainly cumulonimbus and will rain, with thunderstorms in places in the southern and eastern regions. A light to moderate northwesterly wind will continue to blow in Western Bulgaria, while in the other regions it will gradually shift from the north-northeast. Maximum temperatures will be between 11° and 16°, around 10° for Sofia.
Along the Black Sea coast the weather will be predominantly cloudy, with temporary interruptions there will be rainfall. A moderate east-southeast wind will blow, which will shift from the northeast by the end of the day. Maximum temperatures will be 11°-13°. The sea water temperature is 7°-9°. The sea swell will be 2-3 Beaufort.
In the mountains it will be cloudy with snowfall, below 1200 meters - rain and snow. A moderate and strong south-southeast wind will blow. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 3°, at 2000 meters - around minus 2°.
On Sunday it will remain cloudy with rain. There is an increased probability in Central Northern and Northeastern Bulgaria, as well as in the southeastern regions, that the rainfall will be significant in quantity. A light to moderate north-northwest wind will blow. It will also rain on Monday, but the rain will be in fewer places and less in quantity. There will also be temporary breaks in the cloud cover. Daytime temperatures will be slightly lower.
