Dynamic weather with frequent rainfall over the coming week
Over the next 7-8 days, the weather across the country will remain unstable. Although the sun will appear at times and in certain areas, the atmosphere will be saturated with moisture, bringing a risk of summer storms.
Important: An influx of cold air is expected on Sunday, which will bring a temporary drop in temperatures, especially in Northeastern Bulgaria.
Forecast by day:
- Saturday: The day will be unstable with intense rainfall, thunderstorms, and a risk of hail. Temperatures will reach 21-27 degrees.
- Sunday: Transition to colder weather. Significant rainfall is expected around the Balkan Mountains and along the Black Sea coast. Daytime temperatures will drop to 13-22 degrees.
- Monday and Tuesday: Gradual clearing of clouds in the western regions, but with continued rainfall in the eastern part of the country and the mountains.
- Wednesday and Thursday: Increasing instability again across the entire country with thunderstorms and hail.
No lasting stabilization is expected by the end of the week. Temperatures will remain in the 20-25 degree range, which is typical for the variable nature of the weather during this period.
