Today, the minimum temperatures in most parts of the country will be negative – from minus 5° to minus 1°, in the extreme southwestern and eastern regions – up to about plus 2°, and the maximums – from 2 – 3° in the north to 7 -8 ° in the south, in Sofia – around 2°.
Sunny weather will prevail, but it will remain windy, with moderate to strong northwesterly winds, which will create the feeling of colder than the actual weather.
Along the Black Sea coast, besides being windy, it will also be mostly cloudy, with maximum temperatures from 4° on the northern coast to 7° on the southern coast.
In the mountains today, it will be even windier, with temporarily strong northerly winds, but also – mostly sunny.
More clouds and light snowfall will be in our country on Sunday, mainly in the mountainous regions. During the remaining days, it will be sunny, but more often windy, and the temperatures will remain without significant change. A new, even more significant cooling, is expected on Wednesday, when there will again be areas with so-called ice weather, during which even the maximum temperatures remain below zero.
