Weather Forecast: Unstable weather with a risk of hail ahead
The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) warns of dynamic changes in the weather. Overnight, cloudiness over the Danubian Plain and the Ludogorie region will be intermittent, with rain showers accompanied by thunderstorms in some places.
The phenomena will be significant and more intense in the Central Balkan and Southwestern regions, where there is an increased risk of hail.
What weather awaits us tomorrow?
- Temperatures: Maximums will range from 21-22° in Eastern Bulgaria to 27-29° in the Southwestern regions.
- Mountains: Expect intense rainfall and thunderstorms, especially in the Rila-Rhodope massif.
- Black Sea coast: Cloudy, with rainfall in the afternoon hours and sea state around 3 on the Douglas scale.
Outlook for the middle of the week
On Wednesday and Thursday, the air mass will remain unstable. Although mornings will start with sun, powerful cumulonimbus clouds will develop in the afternoon. A push of relatively cooler air from the northwest is expected on Thursday, which will lower temperatures to 23-28°.
