Important traffic changes: Restrictions for trucks over 12 tons on Trakia and Struma motorways

The Road Infrastructure Agency is introducing temporary restrictions for heavy goods vehicles over 12 tons on Fridays and Sundays to ease traffic and increase safety on the motorways.

Restrictions for heavy traffic

With the aim of increasing safety during peak hours, the Road Infrastructure Agency is introducing temporary traffic organization for heavy goods vehicles over 12 tons. The restriction applies to:

The ban is in effect on Friday from 16:00 to 23:00 and on Sunday from 15:30 to 22:00.

Reversible traffic at Simitli

In the Simitli area, reversible traffic is being introduced for easier transit towards Bansko. On Friday, two lanes will be provided in the direction of Kulata, and on Sunday – two lanes towards Sofia.
