Temporary restrictions for heavy goods traffic
From 15:30 to 22:00 today, the movement of heavy trucks over 12 tons is restricted on the Trakia and Struma motorways, as well as through the Kresna Gorge. The measure aims to increase safety and prevent the formation of queues during peak hours.
Drivers are urged to drive carefully and comply with the temporary traffic organization.

Who is exempt from the restrictions?
The ban does not apply to:
- Passenger transport;
- Hazardous goods;
- Live animals;
- Perishable food products;
- Temperature-controlled cargo;
- Rendering plant trucks and specialized equipment of road maintenance companies.
