Following an old tradition in Burgas, the memory of the fallen fishermen and sailors was honored by throwing wreaths and flowers into the sea.  Sliven Metropolitan Arseniy and representatives of the Burgas Orthodox clergy held a memorial service on the Bridge. The ceremony was attended by Mayor Dimitar Nikolov, Regional Governor Vladimir Krumov, representatives of the state and local authorities, and dozens of citizens. A representative part of the Navy participated in the procession with the icon of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, which at the end of the procession performed the traditional ritual of throwing a wreath into the sea waters in memory of the fallen sailors and fishermen.
