A meeting in the name of peace and humanity in Burgas
The Mayor of Burgas Municipality, Dimitar Nikolov, received His Eminence Archbishop Job of Shumsk, Rector of the Pochaiv Theological Seminary in Ukraine, for an official meeting. The distinguished guest was introduced by Metropolitan Arseniy of Sliven.
"The most important thing that the people of Ukraine want is peace, an end to the war, so that neither children nor adults perish. The human being is most important," declared Archbishop Job.
Care for Ukrainian citizens in the Burgas region
During the conversation, it was emphasized that thousands of Ukrainian citizens who fled the hostilities have found shelter in the Burgas region. Mayor Dimitar Nikolov assured that the municipality is making every effort for their integration and support.

- Highlighting the closeness between Burgas and its twin city of Mykolaiv, Ukraine.

The meeting concluded with a joint call for peace and mercy, with Archbishop Job requesting all believers to pray for an end to the conflict and the preservation of human life.
