Ukraine officially joins the United Expeditionary Forces of Northern Europe

Eight Northern European countries are calling for the official inclusion of Ukraine in the multinational defense coalition "Joint Expeditionary Force". This is seen as a logical step to strengthen collective security in Europe and to provide more effective support to Kyiv against Russian aggression.

Representatives of the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, and Denmark jointly prepared a conclusion in which they emphasize the need for Ukraine to be recognized as a full member of the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF) initiative. The authors of the document state that "it is time to welcome Ukraine as a full participant in our defense cooperation".

The Joint Expeditionary Force is a multinational defense coalition led by the United Kingdom, with a focus on security in the Northern European and Baltic region.
