NATO: We defend every inch of our territory
In response to reports that Iran is considering options for attacks against US military targets in Europe, a NATO spokesperson stated that the Alliance is fully prepared to respond to any threat.
"Our deterrence and defense posture are strong and effective,"the organization emphasized, recalling the ballistic missiles intercepted over Turkey.
The threat to Bulgaria and Europe
According to a report in the "Financial Times," Iranian forces are assessing risks and opportunities for strikes against US assets located in Southeast Europe. Special attention is being paid to Bulgaria, after our country approved the use of the Bezmer air base for US logistical needs.
- Potential targets include US military facilities in Europe.
- Cyprus has been identified as a high-risk zone due to the British air base there.
- Iran is also considering possibilities for sabotaging underwater fiber-optic cables in the Strait of Hormuz.
The situation remains tense, as Tehran's actions depend directly on a possible escalation of the conflict by the administration of Donald Trump.
