In the past year, 456 people died and 8,281 were injured in 6,647 accidents, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) announced on its website. Three people died and nine were injured in nine accidents on the last day of 2025.
Eight minor accidents were recorded in Sofia.
Compared to the actual data for fatalities - 478, during the same period in 2024, there are 22 fewer road users killed in 2025, the MoI notes.
