Tragic toll on the road
The past 24 hours were marked by a series of serious road traffic accidents (RTA) in the country. According to official data released by the Ministry of the Interior (MoI), a total of 30 serious accidents resulted in two deaths, while another 37 people sustained injuries of varying degrees of severity.
The situation in Sofia
The capital was also included in the statistics. Over the last 24 hours, two serious and 24 minor road accidents were registered in Sofia. Two people were injured in the incidents, with one of them in critical condition and their life in danger.
The statistics since the beginning of the year are alarming: 294 fatalities and over 5,200 injured in accidents.

- For the month: 22 killed in road accidents.
- Since the beginning of the year: 294 killed and 5,234 injured.
- Injured since the beginning of the month: 535 people.
The Traffic Police urge drivers to exercise increased caution, maintain a safe distance, and strictly observe traffic rules, especially given the dynamic road conditions.
