In the past 24 hours in Bulgaria, 17 incidents with casualties were registered, the Ministry of Interior announced. A total of three people lost their lives, and 18 sustained injuries.
In Sofia, 27 minor accidents were registered, with no fatalities or injuries.
Since the beginning of 2026, there have been 353 road accidents, with 34 fatalities and 431 injured. The comparison with the statistics for 2025 shows an increase in deaths by 10.
