In the past 24 hours in Bulgaria, 14 accidents were registered, in which 21 people were injured. This data is reported by the Ministry of Interior on its website.
In Sofia, the situation is calmer, with 31 minor traffic incidents and two serious ones recorded, in which two people were injured.
Looking at a larger scale, since the beginning of the month, there have been 125 accidents in the country, six people have lost their lives, and 152 have been injured. Since the beginning of the year, the statistics are even more alarming - 538 traffic incidents, 43 fatalities, and 660 injured.
It is important to note that compared to the same period in 2025, there is an increase of two more fatalities.
