This Sunday in the Burgas district of "Banevo" the traditional holiday Turaliya, associated with Sirni Zagovezni, will be held.

The initiator of the event is Mihail Atanasov, who for the third consecutive year, together with residents of the neighborhood, organizes the celebration.

The program includes participation of local folklore groups, as well as a re-enactment of the customs of asking for forgiveness and eating halva by children.

The culmination of the holiday will be the lighting of the Sirnishki fire, or as the locals in the neighborhood call it, Turaliya.

From 5 p.m. on an improvised stage in the square next to the "Holy Trinity" church in the neighborhood, the folklore program will begin, along with the re-enactment of traditional rituals.

At 6 p.m. a procession with a drum and bagpipes will start towards the hill above "Hristo Botev" street, where the Sirnishki fire or the so-called local Turaliya will be lit.

The organizer calls for strict observance of the safety rules and, despite the weather, to observe the tradition.
