Right now, starting at 7:00 PM on the "Okhlyuva" open-air stage in the Sea Garden in Burgas, a festive concert is being held to mark Ukraine's Independence Day. The event is dedicated to the richness of Ukrainian culture, traditions, and spirituality.
The festive initiative brings together representatives of the Ukrainian community, residents of Burgas, and guests of the city. Together, they are celebrating one of Ukraine's most significant national holidays, with the stage becoming a place for meeting and cultural dialogue.
The concert program features Ukrainian and Bulgarian songs, instrumental pieces, and poetry. Through music, words, and artistic performances, the organizers present different facets of Ukrainian cultural heritage and highlight the connection between memory, culture, and national identity.
Visitors can also view exhibitions by a children's art studio, as well as a creative association from a pensioner's club. The works presented tell personal stories and showcase the talent of people from the Ukrainian community.
The concert is being held with the support of the Municipality of Burgas and the Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Burgas.
The initiative is also a sign of gratitude to Burgas for the hospitality and support provided to the Ukrainians who have found a temporary home in the city. The festive program is scheduled from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on August 24th.
