During the discussion, the following strategic issues were addressed:
- Modernization of the Bulgarian Armed Forces: The Minister informed that the delivery of the first multipurpose patrol vessel for the Navy is expected within the month.
- Regional security: The issue of developing the Naval Coordination Element in Varna as a NATO structure was raised.
- Logistical connectivity: Admiral Munsch emphasized the need to expand military corridors to enhance security.
