Police officers from the District Police Department conducted a forced check on a driver who caused serious concern among local residents on the road between the villages of Bata and Medovo. The incident raised questions about road safety in the region.
During a thorough check, police officers found an extremely high blood alcohol concentration in the 54-year-old male driver - an impressive 3.59 per mille, which is more than seven times the allowed driving limit.
The offender, who is a resident of Medovo village, categorically refused to provide a blood sample for chemical analysis, which further aggravated his situation. As a direct consequence of his unlawful behavior, he was immediately detained for 24 hours.
According to the standard procedures of the Ministry of Interior, the offender's vehicle was seized in accordance with the established legal order. Rapid proceedings were initiated against him, which will determine the final legal responsibility for the committed act.
This case once again proves the exceptional danger of driving under the influence and the need for strict measures for prevention and control of road safety.
