The planned protest by residents due to the poor condition of the Karnobat–Shumen road did not take place. The reason is that the Road Infrastructure Agency started this morning with the repair, patching a 7-kilometer section from the Karnobat checkpoint in the direction of the village of Lozarevo.
The activities are expected to continue for about two weeks.
Two weeks ago, residents of Karnobat and Sungurlare organized a large-scale protest motorcade due to deep potholes and ruts.
