Temporary traffic restrictions on motorways
The Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) warns drivers of upcoming repairs on the Struma and Trakia motorways. Today and tomorrow, toll camera replacement is being carried out, which necessitates a temporary change in traffic organization.
Struma Motorway – August 19
Activities in the Blagoevgrad region will be carried out in stages in both directions for about 20 minutes each:
- 92nd km (Pokrovnik): 09:30 (direction Kulata) and 16:30 (direction Sofia).
- 129th km (Dolna Gradeshnitsa): 10:30 (direction Kulata) and 15:30 (direction Sofia).
- 143rd km (Sandanski): 11:30 (direction Kulata) and 14:30 (direction Sofia).
- 151st km (Damyanitsa): 12:00 (direction Kulata) and 14:00 (direction Sofia).
- 163rd km (Marikostinovo): 13:00 (direction Kulata) and 13:20 (direction Sofia).
Trakia Motorway – August 20
In the Plovdiv region, camera replacement will restrict traffic for about 40 minutes:
- 107th km (Tsalapitsa): from 08:00
- 118th km (Radinovo): from 09:00
The RIA urges drivers to drive with increased caution, to follow road signs, and to avoid risky overtaking.
